Do you mean find the perimeter of a RECTANGLE? If so, this is P=2W + 2L.

How do you find the perimeter of an equation?

Step 1. Perimeter Pmeans adding up all the sides. So let's take a rectangle as an example which means adding up all four sides of a rectangle.

Step 2. Let w be the width of a rectangle.

Step 3. Let L be the length of a rectangle.

Step 4. ANSWER: Then the Perimeter P= w+w+L+L=2w+2L for a rectangle.
