In his post, @lwsshar3 makes a note
for x < 1, ln(x) < 0 (this is true for logs of any base)
As an absolute statement, this note is wrong: for x < 1,
is negative only if the base 'a' is greater than 1 (one).
In opposite, if the base 'a' is lesser than 1, then
is POSITIVE for x < 1.
Be aware.
