assume it's

divide both sides by 7
e%5E%28%285x%2B3%29%29+=+700
find the nat log of both sides, ln of e is 1 therefore
5x + 3 = 6.55108
5x = 6.55108 - 3
5x = 3.55108
x = 3.55108%2F5
x ~ .710216
