Question 680115: 4+log3(7x)=10
the 3 is the base number so i subtracted the 4 from the 10 and i got
log3(7x)=6
so i did the base formula i think thats what its called ,
log7x
______
log3
and i got 5.1290x=6
then i tried dividing the 6/5.1290 and got x=1.1698
I DONT THINK ITS RIGHT THATS WHY I NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4 + log3(7x) = 10
log3(7x) = 6
I don't think you need the change of base formula here
:
write it as the exponent equiv
7x = 3^6
7x = 729
x = 729/7
x = 104.143
