Hi,

Yes, log2 = .3010   (rounded off to nearest 10-thousandths

Can read it as well off logarithm chart for base 10

Important thing is that  log2 = .3010  because 10^.3010 = 2 (rounded to a whole number)

KNowing   is not only important, makes one better understand what log2 is.
