You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I can't tell what the expression really is. Are those base 10 logs with a "2*" in each one? Or are they supposed to be base 2 logs? Or something else? My guess is that this confusion is why no one has helped you with this problem. Tutors are more like to respond to clearly expressed problems.
Logarithms can be particularly difficult to express clearly using a keyboard. Your best options:
  • Use some English (and parentheses) along with the math. For example:
    base 10 log of (x-3) = 3
    log, base 4, of (3x) + 2(log, base 4, of (9x))
    etc.
  • Learn to use syntax algebra.com uses to display logs. Click on the "Show source" link on this page to see what I typed to get the following:
    log%28%28x-3%29%29+=+3
    log%284%2C+%283x%29%29+%2B+2log%284%2C+%289x%29%29
    Note:
    • the expressions are surrounded with matching sets of three braces.
    • the seeming extra set of parentheses.
I hope from these examples you can teach yourself how to use this syntax.
