rewrite equation:
y=1/e^3x
As x approaches infinity, the function will approach zero, which, in effect, makes the x-axis a horizontal asymptote.
At x=0, the function=1, so you have this point to plot
As x turns negative, e^-3x becomes increasingly larger. (you could plug in negative x-value to get some idea of the slope of this increase.)
The horizontal asymptote(x-axis), point(0,1) and a selected negative x-value should give you enough information to draw a good graph of the given function, y=e^-3x
Note: e is just a constant=2.718...Try replace e with 2 in the equation and you might see the solution better.
