Question 4709: Three separate questions for the experts:

Question 1:
Solve for x: logx5 = 1/3
My answer: 125 -- Please verify if my answer is correct.

Question 2: I had posted the below question earlier, but have yet to receive a response.
Use the properties of logarithms to write 3lnx^2 + ln(2x-4)-ln(3x-6) as a single logarithm.

Question 3: Graph the function y = log4x.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'll answer the first two of your questions, but I can't seem to get the graph to work for logarithms. I have tried and tried, and I can't make it work. Maybe Igor will help us out with this one.

Question 1.
You are correct! log+%28x%2C+5%29+=+1%2F3 changed to exponential form becomes x%5E%281%2F3%29+=+5. To solve this just cube both sides, giving you x+=+5%5E3+=+125

Question 2.
3lnx%5E2+%2B+ln%282x-4%29-ln%283x-6%29
6ln+%28x%29+%2B+ln+%282x-4%29+-+ln%283x-6%29
6+ln+%28x%29+%2B+ln+%28%282x-4%29%2F%283x-6%29%29+
6+ln%28x%29+%2B+ln+%28%282%28x-2%29%29+%2F%283%28x-2%29%29%29+
6+ln%28x%29+%2B+ln+%282%2F3%29+, for all values of x but x cannot equal 2.
Question 3.
My best shot, but it doesn't seem to work:

Stumped me on this one. Maybe someone else can help us out. Sorry.
