e^sinx = 4^cosx

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
e^sinx = 4^cosx

Take the ln of each side:

ln%28e%5Esinx%29+=+ln%284%5Ecosx%29
sinx+=+ln%284%5Ecosx%29

By the law of logarithms,
sinx=%28cosx%29%28ln4%29

Divide both sides by cosx
tanx=+ln4

Undo the tan function by taking the arctan of each side:
x=+arctan%28ln4%29

My calculator gives me 54.2 degrees or .95 radians.
