SOLUTION: help.... I cant find the answer.
G= .067+.052 Log (M)
I tried subtracting .067 from both sides and got
G-.067 = .052 Log (M)
then dividing both sides by .052
to get (
Question 17260: help.... I cant find the answer.
G= .067+.052 Log (M)
I tried subtracting .067 from both sides and got
G-.067 = .052 Log (M)
then dividing both sides by .052
to get (G-.067)/.052=Log M
then plugged it into my calculator and got the wrong answer. Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Are you solving for M? If so, you are correct so far. I think you might want to do two more steps. Rirst, the clear those decimals, multiply both numerator and denominator by 1000. That might look nicer:
Next,suing the basic definition of logarithms: means
As an alternative, if you did NOT multiply numerator and denominator by 1000, you would get this:
These answers should be the same. Do either of these look right?
