First thing we need to do is solve for log2 1024
What power of 2 is 1024??

So, is log2 1024
Then solve
= 512

log_2 (1024)^3
Let y = log_2 (1024)^3
Rewrite the above equation as
2^y = 1024
The question is now asking you to find a number that when multiplied by ITSELF will give you 1024?
How would you find it?
Here is the trick: take the square root of 1024 using your calculator.
So, the square root of 1024 is 32.
So, y = 32.
