The exercise is missing the logarithm of WHAT, to the base a.
A guess is you have this:
log%28a%2C2%29=p and log%28a%2C3%29=q.

Then you want to find what is log%28a%2C6%29.

log%28a%2C6%29
log%28a%2C2%2A3%29
log%28a%2C2%29%2Blog%28a%2C3%29
and substituting using what is "given",
p%2Bq.
