You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The graph has the two points (9,0) and (243,3).

This would give, with appropriate steps:
system%28-a=2%2Alog%28b%2C3%29%2Cand%2C5%2Alog%28b%2C3%29=3-a%29

Substituting for a, and simplifying,
3%2Alog%28b%2C3%29=3
log%28b%2C3%29=1
b%5E1=3
highlight%28b=3%29

-a=2log%28b%2C3%29
-a=2%2Alog%283%2C3%29
-a=2%2A1
highlight%28a=-2%29

.
Let a and b be constants. Denote the graph of y=a + logb(x) by G. The y-intercept of G is 9 and G passes
through the point (243,3). Express c in terms of y.

1)   Function  y = a + log(base b)(x)   HAS  NO   y-intercept.
