log%2836%2C6%5E%285-x%29%29

then %285-x%29log%2836%2C6%29
%285-x%29%28log%286%2C6%29%2Flog%286%2C36%29%29
%285-x%29%281%2Flog%286%2C6%5E2%29%29
%285-x%29%281%2F2%29

If that, then your equation would be
3-x=%285-x%29%2F2
and you can continue to solve.
