Any log graph has the basic shape:

There are 2 definite points to note:
1. the line x=0 is an asymptote (try putting log(0) into a calculator).
2. the curve crosses the x=axis at x=1 (put log(1) into the calculator and you get zero as the answer.

Now, you have y = log(x) + 2 which means all the y-values are the log(x) values with 2 added to them:

so, when x=1, y was 0..it is now y=2.

Also, when x=0, we still have no value of y allowed. So we end up with graph%28200%2C200%2C-1%2C4%2C-2%2C3%2Cln%28x%29%2B2%29
