You can put this solution on YOUR website!
36in^2=L x W
36in^2=9 x 4
L=9 ; W=4
P=2L+2W
P=2(9)+2(4)
P=18+8
P=26
The perimeter of the rectangle is 26 inches.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For the perimeter, all you have to do is add up all of the sides and you get the perimeter.
Since the area is 36in%5E2, and a length is 9, that means the other length is 4in%5E2. Double each side.
18+8=26in%5E2
Hope this helps!
