If you have a square that is 6ft by 6ft and want

Start with this 6ft by 6ft square

       6ft

Then you cut from the middle of the top straight down
to the bottom left corner, like this:

|     /        |
|6ft /         |
|   /       6ft|
|  /           |
| /            |
|/_____________|


Then you take off the left piece, turn it upside-down 
and it will just fit on top of the right piece like 
this:
