Area of the plastic=area of large disc - area of small disc
radius of large disc=13/2 inches
radius of small disc=10/2=5 inches
Area of large disc=3.14%2813%2F2%29%5E2
Area of small disc=3.14%285%29%5E2
Area of the plastic=3.14%2813%2F2%29%5E2-%283.14%29%285%29%5E2
