You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Determine if F(x) = (1/3)x-3 and g(x)= 3x+9 are inverse functions by computing their compositions.
-------------
f[g(x)]=f[3x+9]=(1/3)(3x+9)-3=x+3-3=x
g[f[x)]=f[(1/3)x-3]=3[(1/3)x-3]+9=x-9+9=x
They are inverse of one another.
