FIRST FIND THE LENGTH OF THE LINE ACROSS THE X & Y AXIS THUS:
X IS 7-(-6)=13 SO THE MID POINT IS 13/2=6.5 AWAY FROM BOTH ENDS 7-6.5=.5
Y IS 4-2=2 SO THE MID POINT IS 2/2=1 AWAY FROM BOTH ENDS 4-1=3
THUS THE MID POINT IS (.5,3).
