Question 66868This question is from textbook Advanced mathematics
: Determine if f(x) = x^3 and g(x) = the cubed root of x, are inverse functions by computing their compositions. This question is from textbook Advanced mathematics
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Determine if f(x) = x^3 and g(x) = the cubed root of x, are inverse functions by computing their compositions.
LET F(X)=Y=X^3
X=CUBE ROOT OF (Y)
HENCE F INVERSE (X)= CUBE ROOT OF(X)=G(X)
SIMILARLY IF G(X)=Z=CUBE ROOT OF (X)
X=Z^3
HENCE G INVERSE (X) = X^3=F(X)
HENCE F(X) AND G(X) ARE INVERSE OF EACH OTHER
