You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Can someone help me solve this problem?
I need to write the equation of the line L satisfying the givengeometric conditions:
L has y-intercept (0, -3) and is parallel to the line with equation y= 2/3x + 1
EQN.OF PARALLEL LINE IS
Y=2X/3 +K.....IT PASSES THROUGH.(0,-3)...SO
-3=2*0/3+K=K=-3
HENCE EQN. OF LINE IS
Y=2X/3 - 3
Thanks, Ashley
