You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Stemplots are used for small sets of data, they are quicker to make and present more detailed information than histograms.
To make a stemplot:
Separate each observation into a stem, consisting of all but hte final , or rightmost digit, and a leaf, the final digit. Stems may have as many digits as needed, but each leaf contains only a single digit.
Draw the stems in a vertical column,m with the smallest at top, and draw a vertical line at the right of the column.
Write each leaf in the row to the right of its stem, in increasing order out from the stem.
The following data set:
332 319 326 265 333 323 330 320 305 327 230 309 327 337 323 241 302 313 287 319
results in the following Stemplot:
23 | 0
24 | 1
25 |
26 | 5
27 |
28 | 7
29 |
30 |
30 | 2 5 9
31 | 3 9 9
32 | 0 3 3 6 7 7
33 | 0 2 3 7
