Question 417468: I really need help with the two questions I have posted so I do not fail my assignment PLEASE.
Your doctor ordered you to buy one half liter of hydrogen peroxide. At your pharmacy hydrogen peroxide comes in bottles of 4 ounces, 8 ounces, and 16 ounces. Which one is closest to one half liter. Back your answer with figures. Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source):
Hi
L = 33.814 oz(US)
.5L = 16.907 oz(US)
of the 4 ounce, 8 ounce, and 16 ounce Bottles: 16oz bottle would be closest.
Note: A Liter and a Quart(1.0567L) are 'VERY' close to holding the same.
that is: (1/2)L is nearly equal to (1/2)Qt)= 32oz/2 OR 16oz
