Question 40621: what is the projection of vector a on to vector b when the angle between them is equal to 0?
i know the formula and stuff but i am not sure wherther the answer is -a or a as to get a projected onto b one of them needs to change direction... Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If the angle is zero the projection is "a".
Consider a verctor parallel to the x-axis.
The vector has a beginning pt and an end pt.
Draw perpendicular lines to the x-axis to
get the projection.
The original vector and the projection vector
have the same length and same direction.
