I think that necessary part of the problem,  which is missed in the post,

is to know what segments are the bases and what segments are the lateral sides of the trapezoid.


Had we have a plot / (a diagram),  we could see it by our own eyes,  but without having a plot / (a diagram),
or without having an adequate wording description,  we even can not imagine the situation correctly.
