Can I get help with this one, I ended up getting a square root as my answer.
Consider ▭MNPQ with diagonals
MP and NQ.
If MQ = 15
and MN = 36,
find NQ and MP
Draw the diagram.
NQ, besides being one of the diagonals of this rectangle, is also the hypotenuse of right-triangle MNQ,
which contains legs MN and MQ.
With legs MN and MQ being 36 and 15 respectively, hypotenuse NQ is the hypotenuse of the PYTHAG. TRIPLE,
5-12-13, times 3, or 3(5):3(12):3(13) = 15:36:39
Hypotenuse NQ (diagonal NQ) = diagonal MP = 39 units.
Don't you think it'd have been a good idea to show your work so it could be determined where you went wrong?
