Question 1043053: So I have the question y=2%2F3tan%283x%2F4%2Bpi%29%2B4 Find the phase shift. The answer must lie in the interval [-h%2F2,h%2F2) where h is the period. I already know that the period is 4pi%2F3. So that means the interval is between [-2pi%2F3,2pi%2F3) right? I also know that without the interval restriction the phase shift is -4pi%2F3%3B. After that though, I do not know what to do next. Can someone please help me.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I have the question y= (2/3)tan(3x/4+pi)+4 Find the phase shift.
The answer must lie in the interval [-h/2,h/2) where h is the period. I already know that the period is 4pi%2F3. So that means the interval is between [-2pi/3,2pi/3) right?
Correct::
I also know that without the interval restriction the phase shift is -4pi/3.
After that though, I do not know what to do next. Can someone please help me.

Note: [-2pi/3,2pi/3) is one period of the graph.
