Let x#y=2x-3y and x*y=x-y. If x=10 and y=12, evaluate (x#y)*y.

((x)/(1-x)) - ((y)/(1-y))
The book's answer is:
((x-y)/(xy-x-y+1))
I got to the middle step,
((x(1-y) - (y(1-x) / (1-x)(1-y))
That's where I get lost.
