Question 50587: I have worked this problem til I cant see straight. The ans in the book shows an answer of 15-3y. I show 18-2y so I think I am leaving out a step someplace.
The problem is 3[6-(y+1)]. would I not do the () first which is 2y so the problem would now be 3[6-2y] so this would be 3(6-2y) 18-4y? Can you please not really show me the ans per say but show me step by step where I went wrong. My family would sure appreciate it too since my high school daughter cant see where they got the ans either. Thank you so much for this service
