Equation:

       3n + 1 = 46                Subtract 1 both sides

            n = 15  First integer



  n + 1 = 15 + 1

        = 16        Second integer





CHecking :



   2(15) + 16 = 46

     30  + 16 = 46

           46 = 46  ----> True
