You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
The answer depends on context.
As the problem is worded in the post, it MAKES no SENSE.
Please, do not post more/other problems of this kind, since THEY ALL MAKE NO SENSE.
------------------
comment from student :
(1) The reason I posted the questions was that it also did not make sense to me!
(2) My understanding is this website is designed to help students with answering questions they do not understand.
(3) I really did it need someone to tell me it does not make sense, I already knew thatt!
(4) Please in the future if you cannot answer the question then don’t respond, just because you did not understand the problem
doesn’t mean someone else didn’t and now no one else will look at the problem.
(5) Very disheartened by this! The homework I am working on is asking me to look at each equation and identify which of the four representations
of the variables given does each variable is represent. Wish I had more information to give but his all that I have.

My response
I understand your emotions.
I also want to answer to your comment "sentense by sentense" ---
therefore, I divided your comment by parts and numbered them to answer to each position.
(1) Had I not answered, you, probably, would not get answer from anyone else.
(2) Your opinion in this part is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ! This site is designed to help students.
And I worked at this site just about 9 years, having written more than 900 lessons
and about 5 (6 ?) years at this forum, having answered/solved thousands of students/visitors requests/problems.
(3) You write "I really did it need someone to tell me it does not make sense" --- So, I really did what you requested.
(4) (a) You simply do not understand how this forum works.
If any other tutor has different opinion/solution, he or she may post it (!)
Having my response is not an obstacle for other tutors to place (to post) their version.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
(b) | Please DO NOT TEACH me HOW to do and WHAT to do in this forum. I do not need such teaching (!) |
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
(5) This #5 does not require (and does not assume) my responce.
But if you are so dissatisfied, you may look for another forum in the Internet.
Remember, I did not charge you.
Have a nice day, afternoon, evening (!)

The BEST response to my post from your side would be "THANKS".
