Question 1006591: Regarding equations with fractions:
Which of the following is equivalent to 1/x-2 divided by 1/x+2?
Algebraically, I flip the denominator and multiply the terms to get x+2/x-2.
But, of course, that's not an answer choice.
The correct answer choice is supposedly 1 + (4/x-2)!
How do I get there?
Would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

Question 1006592: Equations with fractions:
Given the following term k = a+b/a-b, which of the following expresses a in terms of b and k?
The answer choice is a = b(k+1)/k-1.
I'm usually pretty good with these, but I'm not getting this one at all.
My attempt: I cross multiply to get k(a-b) = a + b. I then isolate a on the right to get k(a-b) - b = a. From there, I'm stuck. I don't see any way to get to the answer choice.
Thanks for any help.
