In the first place,
is NOT an equation. An equation is two mathematical expressions on either side of an equals sign.
If the two parts of your question are related to each other such that the variable represents the same quantity in both the equation and the rational expression, then everywhere you see in your question. On the other hand, if the equation and the rational expression are not so related, then there is no way to determine the value of in the rational expression.
It did occur to me that what you meant to ask was quite possibly:
"If , then what is the value of the expression ?"
However, that would require me to assume facts not in evidence. If you did, indeed, ask the question incorrectly, then please repost a corrected version on the site so someone can possibly help you.
