You can put this solution on YOUR website!
500p+-+p%5E2+=+60%2C000

p is already on one side of the equation.
Left side contains p.
Right side does not contain p.

You would want an expression on one side and 0 on the other side.

500p-p%5E2%2B%28-60000%29=60000%2B%28-60000%29
500p-p%5E2-60000=0
-p%5E2%2B500p-60000=0
and maybe for convenience,
%28-1%29%28-p%5E2%2B500p-60000%29=%28-1%290
highlight_green%28p%5E2-500p%2B60000=0%29

Now either complete the square or use formula for general solution of a quadratic equation. You might be able to factorize without that, but not sure just by looking.
