you asked to solve this problem for y & that's exactly what I did according to the rules of algebra which in many cases is nothing more than moving terms around --- according to a pre defined set of rules.
AX+BY=C here we need to subtract ax from both sides
BY=C-AX to isolate y we need to divide both sides by b
Y=C/B-AX/B now we can combine the terms that have a common denominator
Y=(C-AX)/B
these are just some of the rules to follow.
