Question 948294: a=pi*x*y I need help finding the equivalent equation solved for Y. I think it is y=a*pi*x but I am not sure. I got my solution by first dividing y from both sides: a/y=pi*x*y/y = a/y=pi*x and then multiplying a to both sides: a*a/y=a*pi*x = y=a*pi*x Is that correct?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
No.
a=pi%2Ax%2Ay
So to get y by itself, divide both sides by pi%2Ax
a%2F%28pi%2Ax%29=%28%28pi%2Ax%29%2F%28pi%2Ax%29%29%2Ay
y=a%2F%28pi%2Ax%29
