Question 925460: I am trying to find the inverse variation equation for this problem involving a bridge length experiment. I have found that an equation 96=yx but this does not work for the other points that are in the table. The points that are given are (4,24) (6,16) (8,13) (9,11) and (10,9) we have went over this type of problem but we haven't went over on how to do it for a bridge-length experiment.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(4,24) (6,16) both work while the other points do not work. So perhaps there is some error in your measurements or maybe things weren't meant to be perfect. I'm not sure as I'd have to have more context of the problem.
