You can put this solution on YOUR website!
IF a is not equal to b and a^2-b^2/9=a+b,then what is the value of a-b?
:
%28%28a%5E2-b%5E2%29%29%2F9+=+a%2Bb
multiply both sides by 9
a%5E2-b%5E2+=+9%28a%2Bb%29
Factor the left side as the "difference of squares"
(a+b)(a-b) = 9(a+b)
divide both sides by (a+b)
a - b = 9
;
Pretty easy, right?
