Question 900768: Determine which two equations represent parallel lines.
(a) y = –7x + 3 (b) y = 7x + 3 (c) y = x + 3 (d) y = –7x + 6

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
They are all in the form y = mx + b
The coefficients of x, which is m, is the slope.
Lines that slope the same way are parallel.
If they slope the same way, their slopes are equal,
therefore (a) and (d) are the only ones which have equal slopes, -7.
