Similarly
==> (2x + 5)( 2x - 5 ) = 0
==> either (2x + 5) = 0 or ( 2x - 5 ) = 0
==> 2x + 5 = 0
Subtract 5 from both sides.....
==> 2x - 5 - 5 = 0 - 5
==> 2x = -5
Divide both sides by 2
