This can be written as .....

+%282x%29%5E2+-+25+=+0+, which is of the form, +a%5E2+-+b%5E2


We know that +a%5E2+-+b%5E2 can be written as,
+a%5E2+-+b%5E2= (a + b) ( a - b)

Similarly

+%282x%29%5E2+-+25+=+0+ ==> (2x + 5)( 2x - 5 ) = 0

==> either (2x + 5) = 0 or ( 2x - 5 ) = 0


==> 2x + 5 = 0
Subtract 5 from both sides.....

==> 2x - 5 - 5 = 0 - 5

==> 2x = -5

Divide both sides by 2

==> +2x%2F2+=+-5%2F2+


==> +x+=+-2.5+

Now suppose 2x-5 = 0

Add 5 on both sides....


2x - 5 + 5 = 0 + 5




==> 2x = 5


Divide both sides by 2
