Changing postions : All 'x' must be on the left side and all numbers must be on the right side. The right side mustn't have any 'x'. When you move anything from one side to the other it becomes with the opposite sign. When I move '2x' to the left side I change it to '-2x'. The same for '2'. When it's '2x' you don't change it to 'x=4-2'. You have multiplication so when you change ONLY the number '2' the action will become 'x=4/2' because you are changing multiplication to partition.
