Is this an expression, linear equation, or an equation which is not linear?
-------------------------------------
It's an equation which is not linear, because it contains an term.
How to recognize a linear equation,
After all like terms are combined on one
side of the equation, and with only 0 on the other side,
MUST NOT CONTAIN any of these:
1. a variable to any power other than 1.
2. a variable under a denominator.
3. a variable under a radical.
A linear equation in one variable can
be simplified to the form x = A, where A is a number, and
x is a variable.
