8x+%2B+15%2Fx+=+29... a fractional term, so multiply all 3 terms by x, to give

8x%5E2+%2B+15+=+29x
--> 8x%5E2+-29x+%2B+15+=+0

This is a quadratic that you can factorise as (8x-5)(x-3) = 0

so either 8x-5 = 0 OR x-3 = 0

so x = 5/8 OR x = 3
