Worked out algebraically,
1.5x%2By=-14
2.x%2B6y=32
Multiply eq. 2 by -5 and add to eq. 1,
5x%2By-5x-30y=-14-160
-29y=-174
y=6
Then use either equation to solve for x
x%2B6%286%29=32
x=32-36
x=-4
