Call the perimeter p

p+=+56 given
l+=+w+%2B+6 given
substituting,
56+=+2%28w+%2B+6%29+%2B+2w
56+=+2w+%2B+12+%2B+2w
4w+=+56+-+12
4w+=+44
w+=+11
l+=+w+%2B+6
l+=+11+%2B+6
l+=+17
So, the length is 17 cm and the width is 11 cm
