Question 83303: Can you help me with this problem?
For the equation x – radical sign and the radicand under it of x = 0, perform the following:
Solve for all values of x that satisfies the equation.
Graph the functions y = x and y = radical sign and the radicand under it of x on the same graph (by plotting points if necessary). Show the points of intersection of these two graphs.

How does the graph relate to part a?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For the equation x – radical sign and the radicand under it of x = 0, perform the following:
Solve for all values of x that satisfies the equation.
EQUATION:
x-sqrt(x) = 0
x=sqrt(x)
Square both sides to get:
x^2=x
x^2-x=0
x(x-1)=0
x=0 or x=1
------------------
Graph the functions y = x and y = radical sign and the radicand under it of x on the same graph (by plotting points if necessary). Show the points of intersection of these two graphs.

How does the graph relate to part a?
It confirms the results of part a.
