A party was organised for 30 people at which they could either have a hamburger or a pizza. If there were 5 times as many hamburgers as pizzas calculate the number of each.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hamburgers and Pizzas:

h how many hamburgers, p how many pizzas.
h%2Bp=30 and h%2Fp=5;
Multiply the ratio equation by p and get h=5p, and substitute this in the total count equation.

5p%2Bp=30
6p=30
highlight%28p=5%29 and then highlight%28h=25%29
