3x-2(x+6)=4x-(x-10)
3x-2x-12=4x-x+10
x-12=3x+10
(x-12)-x=(3x+10)-x
-12=2x+12
-12-12=(2x+12)-12
-24=2x
-24%2F2=2x%2F2
-12=x

3x-2x-12=4x-x+10
x-12=3x+10
-2x=22
x=-11
