You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Does your problem look like this?

sqrt%282x%2B6%29-6=0

sqrt%282x%2B6%29=6 Add 6 to both sides

%28sqrt%282x%2B6%29%29%5E2=%286%29%5E2 Square both sides

2x%2B6=36 After squaring we get this

2x=30 Subtract 6 from both sides

x=15 Divide both sides by 2

Check:

sqrt%282%2815%29%2B6%29-6=0 Plug in x=15

sqrt%2830%2B6%29-6=0 Multiply

sqrt%2836%29-6=0 Add

6-6=0 Take the square root

0=0 works. This verifies our answer.
